How to Change your Linked Chime Tone for Ring Video Doorbell

Open Ring App

Step 1 – Select a linked Chime

Step 2 – Select Chime Tones

Step 3 – tap different tones until you find one you like (My son loves trains)

Step 4 – Save Changes

Step 5 – A notification comes up. Go ahead click OK!

Step 6 – Wait for it…

Step 7 – Adjust volume and test sound

Step 8 – you can do the same for Motions.  Having two different sounds makes it easier to know if someone Rang your Doorbell or just dropped off a package.

Enjoy knowing when people are at your front door.  As an added benefit sometimes ring puts out special Chime tones like during holidays.
