Step 1 – Download the LIFX application from your preferred “App Store”.
Step 2 – Sign-up and register and account with LIFX through the application
Step 3 – From the home screen of the application tap the + button in the top right corner
Step 4 – Select “Connect Light” from the pop-up menu on the bottom
Step 5 – Screw in the LIFX bulb you wish to set up in a figure you with to power your bulb
Step 6 – Make sure the power is on to your bulb.
Step 7 – Exit the LIFX application and opening up your settings for your iOS device
Step 8 – Select the LIFX bulb wifi when it is discovered and let it connect. You will be prompted to return to the LIFX application.
Step 9 – Wait for the LIFX bulb to connect and sync.
Step 10 – Select your Wi-Fi
Step 11 – Type in your Wi-Fi password
Step 12 – Wait while LIFX connects your bulb to your Wi-Fi
Step 10 – Name the light a unique name, Select a location (by default this will be your current home set up with your account), Select a group/room or create a new group, Set Desired “Night Vision” brightness (only available for LIFX Plus)
Step 11 – You are all set. Lay back and paint your room with vibrant color.
