Step 1 – Open the LIFX App
Step 2 – (Option for quick control) From the home screen you can tap your individual lights or groups to turn them on/off
Step 3 – (Option to fine tune) Tap the name of the group/light below the circle quick control icon. (For this example we will tap “All Lights” which will allow us to control all lights together)
Explanation – Across the bottom of the new screen you have four options to select. Colours, Whites, Themes, and Effects. For this guide we will focus on the first two.
Step 6- Tap Colours (if not already selected)
Explanation – From this screen you can control Hue, Saturation, brightness, and on/off.
Hue – To control the Hue spin the color wheel around until you get to your desired color.
Saturation – To control the saturation drag the dot selector up or down until you get to your desired saturation level.
Brightness – To control the brightness of your lights flick the center of the circle up/down to increase or decrease brightness.
On/Off – To change the power state of your light simply tap the power icon to turn on/off your light.
Step 7 – Tap “Whites”
Explanation – Similarly to the “Colours” adjustments this screen allows you to control shades of white. From this screen you can control Shades, Brightness, and on/off.
Shades – to adjust the shade of white, simply spin the shade wheel until you get to the white shade desired.
Brightness – To adjust brightness flick the center of the circle up/down to increase or decrease brightness.
On/Off – To change the power state of your light simply tap the power icon to turn on/off your light.
***Tip – to go to your last select color or shade you can tap the circle displaying the last selection in the top left corner of the screen***
That’s it! Now you can control all of your LIFX lights in groups or Individually. Go have fun and paint your home with color.
