How to Set a Schedule With Lifx

For this example we are going to set a sunset option.  This will turn your lights off over a certain period of time after the sun sets.

Step One – Open the Lifx Application and tap the + (Plus) Button in the top right corner

Step 2 – Select New Schedule

Step 3 – Type a name for your new schedule

Step 4 – Toggle on/off to enable this schedule

Step 5 – Select Start time

Step 6 – For this example we are going to use the “With the Sun Option” But you could schedule it to run at any specific time.

Step 7 – 1-Select Sunset, 2-Verify start time, 3-Tap back to make more changes

Step 8 – Select Repeat

Step 9 – 1-Select all the days you would like for the schedule to repeat for, 2-Select back to make more changes

Step 10 – Select Lighting

Step 11 – 1-Select the lights you wish to be on the schedule, 2-click back to make more changes

Step 12 – Select “Power”

Step 13 – 1-Select turn off or turn on, 2- Click back to make more changes

Step 14 – Select “Fade Duration”

Step 15 – 1-Select the amount of time you want the lights to fade, 2- Click back to make more changes

Step 16 – Verify all the settings you have chosen then click safe

Step 17 – Admire your hard work and look at your pretty new schedule.  You can make all kinds of schedules and or scenes with in the application.  Play around and enjoy.  Don’t worry there is nothing that you can’t undo.
