How to Make a New Room in Apple HomeKit

Open your Apple Home app

Step 1 – Select the Room tab in the bottom middle menu bar of your Apple Home app

Step 2 – Select setting in the top left corner of your Apple Home app.

Step 3 – Scroll to the bottom of your listed rooms and tap Room Settings.

Step 4 – Scroll to the bottom of your rooms and tap “Add Room”.

Step 5 – Input a name for your room. Then take or select an existing photo to customize your room background photo. Then tap save in the top right corner of your screen.

Step 6 – Verify the room you added is that the bottom of your room list, then tap Done in the top right corner of your screen.

Step 7 – swipe under the room tabs until you find your new room. Yay now go buy some new smart products to add to your smart home!
