I know what most of you are thinking when you hear the phrase Smart-Home: “It’s all luxury. Why should I pay money to upgrade things in my home that are perfectly fine?” There are a number of reasons why average people are switching to smart home solutions everyday. Based on my experience of purchasing and installing smart-home products in my own home, I have found there are five main categories:

Safety and Security
Convienence
Marriage Saving
and Yes…Luxury
Some of these categories blend with each other, and we will explore that as this blog continues. For now, stick with me if you are on the fence because some of these products can save you enough money to pay for themselves in one year.
